Abstract: | Generally-speaking, the domestic consumer market is in the state of basically stable operation at present. But the total retail sales of social consumer goods have fallen more sharply after a rise and tends to be slack amidst stability. To develop consumer market, the following policy measures should be taken: 1.changing the concept of consumption and improving consumption policy; 2.developing further rural market and promoting the flow of goods between town and country; 3.adapting to the changes in demand structure under the condition of buyer's market and adjusting the structure of production in order to enhance the capacity of effective supply; 4.reestablishing commercial networks and relationship between industry and commerce; 5.cultivating new "consumption hot spots" and market growth points. |
