Abstract:In the next 90 days Brazil will decide its economic future. But every economic indicator is going backward -- and its political system is as venal as ever. In 1992, Cristina Boner did something Brazilian democrats just don't do: she said goodbye to the coddled, easy life of government service and started her own business. Boner, a former technology policy aid in the office of the President, founded TBA Informatica, which makes network-management and infrastructure software packages.
