Abstract:China's import develops cyclically according to domestic economic fluctuation. Especially in recent years, the import growth is very slow, manifested in halt of common trade import, processing trade grows a bit rapidly; imported primary materials decreases, imported mechanical and electrical products increases. The problems are: raw materials account for a certain proportion on state-owned enterprise import, however, there is too little imported advanced technology and facility; in recent years, the adjustment of China's economic structure is lagged, industrial promotion is slow, causing trade surplus to increase continuously. The factors restricting China's import are: some domestic commodity market is lacking in organic contact with international market; too much tariff and administrative measures limit imported goods.
