| Abstract: | This article explores how the Unified Modeling Language is faring in the international standardization process. The processes and architectures for UML change management are examined, followed by discussion of how these processes and architectures were used in the recent minor revision of the language (UML 1.3), and how they may be applied in the next major revision (UML 2.0), which is tentatively scheduled to be completed in 2001. |
