Abstract:The amount deposited by the residents of China depends mainly on the disposable income and the funds absorption rate of the stock market. Without strong disturbing factors if the disposable income increases, the amount deposited will reduce. If the absorption rate goes up, the amount deposited will go down. The bank's nominal deposit interest rate has very weak effect on the deposit amount. Reducing interest rate will not have great effect on expanding consumption demand. The consumer price level has stronger influences on the deposit amount than the interest rate.
