| Abstract: | Scenarios offer an attractive alternative to the false precision promised by pointestimate forecasts. A qualitative character of scenarios is more in keeping with the messy future encountered in realworld forecasting - especially long-term forecasting of radically new products and technologies, on which data are few and uncertainty in rife. |
