Abstract:Open-book management aims at developing a financially literate workforce. Feeding the workforce a steady diet of highly aggregated financial reports can have disruptive effects. An effective open-book management approach combines unaggregated process-management information with process-management and fully disclosed but periodic reporting of the financials.
