| Abstract: | In recent years, different lines of enquiry have attempted to understand and demonstrate how enterprises could enrich their relationships with government and social actors, improving society as a whole and contributing to general welfare. The need for such a positive framework of relationships is especially important in the emerging Latin American countries, where there is a lack of political and social leadership. The authors' objective is to present ideas that could help to answer the following questions: whether it is possible to consider political dimensions associated with enterprise and management activities and whether business managers are leaders in society. |
