| Abstract: | The introduction of this thematic issue begins by looking at the broader multidisciplinary context forming the backdrop of organizational discourse. It focuses on sociolinguistics as the discipline with a distinctive contribution to make towards a future research agenda. The debate on the relationship btw. discourse and ontology is an essential stage of this process. The article concludes with a discussion of the transformative and generative potentialities of discourse as constitutive of the social order. |
