Abstract: | The article discusses and analyses the effect of external communication on corporate governance, transparacy and corporate identity and whether it has lead to better defined corporate identities and more transparancy. The paper further discusses the reponsibility of the board and analyzes results from two empirical studies on 60 listed small and medium-sized Danish companies. It studies the Danish Recommendations on corporate governance from 2001 and compares them to those of the OECD Principles of Corporate Governance. |
