Abstract:This article investigates the role of strategic conversations in corporate social responsibility strategy formation. It is argued that explicitly engaging stakeholders in the CSR strategy-making process, through the mechanism of strategic conversations, will minimize future stakeholder concerns and improve CSR strategy making. Additionally, implications for future research are suggested to allow better understanding of effective strategic conversation process in CSR strategy making and the resulting performance outcomes.
