| Abstract: | This paper traces the persistence of heteronormativity in feminist economics. Part of the power of heteronormativity is that it functions as a ready-made theory of society. The assumption for a family stands automatically for a husband, wife and their children. Heteronormativity is not a synonym for heterosexual privilege, but it names tacit conceptions about what is socially normal. |
