| Abstract: | This paper discusses the level of market adjustment maong key transport statistics central to analysing the effects of policy and forecasting. The authors use time-series techniques to characterize the relationship between key transport statistics such as waterways and shocks to bargain rates. The results suggest that the approach is useful in unravelling complicated relationships over networks and that it also well suited for forecasting. |
