| Abstract: | This paper examines if corporate governance (hereafter as: c-c.) characteristics (here as: c-c-chrs.) do affect the market reaction to news. It is shown that c-c-chars. affect the market reaction to company specific news. These results point to the analysis of the impact of c-c-chars. on the market reaction to news being a new and complementary research agenda within c-c. |
