Abstract: | In this study the authors examine the tourist motivations to visit specific sites of heritage in national capital cities. The authors suggest that there are different meanings to different tourists on which sites to visit, be it a heritage of the culture, city or people. The authors study the sites of Jerusalem. 213 tourists are interviewed in various locations in Jerusalem. The findings indicate that multi-heritage site cities, such as capital cities are visited by different tourists with different perspectives and interests regarding the experience sought by the tourist. |
