| Abstract: | This paper investigates the effect of environmental information (henceforth as: env-info.) on investment decisions. Based on an experiment in which investor groups were asked to make short- and long-term investment allocation decisions (here as: inv-all-decs.), the results suggest that env-info. disclosure influences inv-all-decs. In addition, it is also found that potentially mitigating factors (e.g. investment horizon) affect inv-all-decs., but the predicted main effect of positive env-info. holds across different investment horizons and investor types etc. |
