Abstract: | This paper reports on the ALTAR (Achieving Learning Through Action Research) project which explored collaborative action research (hereafter as AR) between university researchers and a large soft drinks manufacturing organization in United Kingdom. The case organization used AR project to improve the process of adopting knowledge management (hereafter as KM) software. The paper describes a number of AR cycles involving participants at different levels of the collaborating organizations. The findings offer practical examples about KM and organizational learning through AR to managers in a variety of organizations and to academic researchers. |
