| Abstract: | In this paper the non-economic publications of Friedrich A. von Hayek are analyzed to investigate Hayek's political and social contributions to libertarianism and free market capitalism. The writer argues that Hayek's idea of libertarian justification for free market capitalism might be founded on Friedrich Nietzsche's "will to power" and noble/slave ethics. |
