Abstract: | Significant attention has been paid to human capital and knowledge management resources within the strategy and organization theory fields. In this article it is argued that knowledge (here as: k.) requires its own structure and that structure changes over time based on the development stage the organization is in. It is argued that k. structures are created out of the need to manage k. resources, control access to k. and make sure strategy is effectively implemented. In the results, a complementary framework for analyzing knowledge structures is presented. |
