| Abstract: | This study takes a broad perspective on corporate governance mechanisms and considers possible synergies between corporate governance and international business research. The papers in the Focused issue of Management International Review are summarized and their main contributions to literature drawn out. Five research themes are highlighted where future work addressing governance issues may be fruitful. |
