Abstract: | Personality and mental ability are regarded important abilities in interpersonal relationships. This article studies their connection to mentoring empirically, by researching data collected from 272 workers. The analysis suggests no logarithmic form relationship between received mentoring and personality or general mental ability. However, hierarchical linear regression suggested that results on openness and agreeableness dimensions significantly contributed to the scores on mentoring received over and above contributions of the demographics and human capital controls. |
