Abstract: | A review of four turnaround case histories are presented: (1) large successful company with troublesome new product, (2) old line company with sagging reputation and no money, (3) large problem division of major company, (4) good technology company-mishandled. Turnaround is a multifaced process. Traditional morality and values influence turnarounds,the systematic withdrawal of resources can improve organizational performance. |
