| Abstract: | The best strategy for an agent seeking to intercept the flow of information is studied. A worst case scenario is developed which allows multifarious conclusions to be drawn as to what would be appropriate counter-measures to ensure the unimpeded flow of ideas. The analysis progresses from simpler to more complex models: democratic and dictatorial censorship; a duopoly of media and the introduction of impurity of information, differentiated homogeneity and plurality of agents; and a monopoly of media. |
