| Abstract: | The presently available personal computer programs allow the utilization of portfolio technics, so far mainly used for illustrating success positions in the market, for new purposes like potential, use-value and decision analysis. These utilizations lead to a very flexible management instrument. Basis for all portfolio illustrations are two perpendicular axes quantitative values or qualitative factors on their scales. With help of this illustration the decision on technological alternatives can be improved. At the introduction of new information technologies use-value analysis has extraordinary importance. |
