| Abstract: | The author looks for factors responsible for the growing attention in small businesses in present economies, what makes for economic infrastructure for small firms, how is it being supplied and by whom? No doubt government has the main role in providing the economic infrastructure, but no more.The author suggests that some LDCs have lost view of their comparative advantages in exploiting the potential of the small business sector and have missed a balanced economic development. |
