Abstract: | The study examines the effects of juvenile probation officer /JPO/ characteristics on the disposition of juvenile delinquents.87 JPOs completed a survey in the south-western U.S. The results show that the JPO's background characteristics, organizational situations, and attitudes toward the delinquency were crucial variables explaining dispositional disparity. |
