| Abstract: | That human resources managers are isolated in the organization and discouraged by manager peers from pursuing a more proactive role, is pointed out. Guidelines to change the role perception of personnel management are: to have a clear vision of the personnel role; to seek contacts in other units, divisions, community or industry; to learn marketing viewpoints; to avoid withdrawing; to incorporate creativity in personnel work. |
