| Abstract: | Production theory and the theory of production costs functions are in general based on the assumption of constant unit purchasing prices. Price-quantity purchasing functions are introduced into the model of optimal production. The impact of variable purchasing prices on the production process and the optimal production volume is shown analytically and numerically. As far there are not any special models for the establishing of the global maximum of these pay-off functions available, the enumeration of extreme value presents itself a method. |
