| Abstract: | The pilot study analyzes the introduction of computer based information system in small and medium businesses in Quebec; the impact of consultants on the computerization process is compared with cases where there were no consultants involved in the design and choice of computer based information systems. The results show that the involvement of consultants in the process has a positive impact on information systems satisfaction of the managers of the business; this positive impact increases with time and usage of the system. |
