| Abstract: | Almost all of the key success factors in introducing new information technology are in the personnel domain, yet human resource managers seem rarely to be sufficiently involved in the decision-making process. New technology raises very real fears on the part of employees. Fear of the unknown, insecurity, loss of control of work and the de-skilling of work. Fostering economic efficiency may be the goal. Drawing on the experience of several organizations, some useful guidelines are presented. |
