| Abstract: | The functional design of CIM components has reached a very advanced stage. However, the absence of user-oriented interfaces makes it difficult to utilize the information completely. The backlog is especially acute in the case of business management - planning functions. The current state of development is described. Some new approaches for user-interfaces are presented. A number of ways of using graphics and graphics processing in connection with decision aids in CIM are mentioned. The role of simulation and animation is highlighted. |
