Abstract: | Recently, the Food and Drug Administration /FDA/ has released labeling guidelines which are a response to the increasing attention towards advertisements that associate health benefits with certain foods. Among food marketers, there is a continuing hesitation to use health claims in their magazine advertisements. The new FDA guidelines may help to alleviate marketers' reluctance to use these claims. |
