| Abstract: | The results of three independently conducted meta-analyses of the relationship of job satisfaction to employee absenteeism are synthesized. Some refined analyses of the comprehensive data set showed that the strongest relationships were between absence frequency and work satisfaction, and absence duration and overall job satisfaction. |
