Abstract: | The old mechanical model of human resource development with its focus on performance appraisal is not good enough if we really want to improve business. A new integrated human resource development is the answer to the question. This means that if you want to have human resource that is skilled, flexible, innovative, co-operative and productive, you must manage the environment in which they live. A good example of this is Kwik-Fit centres where almost 3000 employees produce a consistently high level of consumer service. |
