| Abstract: | The European Commission's green paper, "Copyright And The Challenges Of Technology" contains important proposals on piracy recognizing that piracy causes great damage to copyright owners' interests. As to DAT, the commission proposes to encounter the threat by introducing technical measures.However, the commission has dodged the issue of home taping. Besides, the paper failed to deal with the harmonization of copyright duration and performance rights. |
