| Abstract: | In this highly competitive , deregulated environment the future of public service broadcasting is uncertain.The example of Italian RAI highlights two dangers of growing privatization: oligopolistic concentration, widening gap between distribution and production activities. The ideal solution for Europe is between public service monopoly and the American model. |
