Abstract: | A theoretical model of industrial buyer-supplier relationships are developed that presents joint action as a key aspect of closeness. The traditional ties stress a clearly defined division of labour, the newer relationships are distinguished by more tightly integrated roles based on undertaking activities jointly. |
