| Abstract: | To be effective it should be recognised that new management practices are required. The best way of teaching managers how to behave is to allow them to practice new skills in a realistic environment. Computer-based simulations are therefore often used for this kind of training. There are six programmes altogether that offer a training package at all management levels. The authors describe how the system worked with the Chase Manhattan Bank. |
