Title:Link your business plan to a performance plan.

Abstract:Change in organizations occurs only through people. The business plan details what the company is trying to get done. The hinge point of success is connecting the plan to people's performance: getting across to the work force what changes should be made, and what the company will do to help people to reach their potential and meet the demands of the tasks ahead. Performance planning is a dynamic, year-round process, not an annual event. By concept and design, the performance-planning process can be made to reach out further without waiting for the next formal planning cycle to begin.
