Abstract: | Breaches of safety regulations, production of sub-standard goods, insufficient information provided to consumers and shareholders. They are often the result of involuntary negligence or errors, criminal law imputes such offences to the corporate head - even if he has not materially committed them himself. The principal infractions that occur in the daily management of a company and which can lead an executive before the courts, are examined. The three major virtues imposed by the law governing corporate heads: prudence, organization and transparency - are stressed. |
