| Abstract: | A study was conducted to examine the nature of supervisor-subordinate influencing behaviour within the framework of transformational and transactional leadership. A law enforcement environment was selected as the setting for the investigation. Contrary to the study's hypothesis, transformational leadership was found to be more closely associated with subordinate officer influencing than transactional leadership. |
