Abstract: | Goal Programming is one of the most practical descriptive approaches to the search for 'good' decisions within the limited information, resources and cognitive capabilities of the decision-maker. This paper presents an application of the Resource Planning and Management Systems /RPMS/ network approach to the GP problem as an alternative to several other approaches used in the GP process. RPMS network as a graphical model is composed of four components: resource nodes, process nodes, minimum source/maximum sink nodes and interrelation structure among nodes. The application of RPMS is illustrated through an example. |
