Abstract: | There has been a tremendous amount of research on job satisfaction over recent years but there are still a lot of unanswered questions, one of which is the role of facet importance in determining satisfaction. The purpose of this study was to test two facet- importance hypotheses derived from Locke's theory. These hypotheses specify when facet importance does or does not play a moderator role in determining satisfaction. |
