| Abstract: | Based on the experience gained from deregulation of freight transport in Sweden, USA, and UK, the OECD's Committee on Competition Law and Policy recommends that all restrictions on entry into freight transport markets should be lifted and regulation of routes and rates abolished. The same refers to passenger transport. |
