| Abstract: | It is estimated that the total capacity of urban and rural telephone exchanges will reach over 50,000,000 lines and more than 0.1 billion lines by the year 2000. At that time, China's telephone network will become one of the largest networks in the world. Since 1986, China's total communication business volume has grown, on an average, by 40 to 50% per year. So it is predicted that China will be the last but the largest communication market which will occupy 8 to 10% of the world market in terms of scale. |
