| Abstract: | The determination of the scale of international reserve has a direct bearing on such significant issues as China's economic development and its policy orientation. This paper illustrates the standard for the moderate scale of international reserve, analyses the causes and harmfulness of China's excessive international reserve, and raises suggestions on the adjustment of our policies. The moderate scale of international reserve should be fixed in line with international practices and the actual situation in China. |
