| Abstract: | This paper attempts to analyze the mechanism for the formation of China's exchange reserves and its influence. It considers that the increase of exchange reserve has exerted the following influence on China's finance: 1. having produced huge surplus in terms of international payment; 2. having changed the mechanism of money supply and increased inflation pressure; 3. having led to the rapid growth of "overseas assets" and change in the structure of use of the assets of the People's Bank of China. |
