Abstract: | This paper examines students' attitudes towards business ethics. The results show that undergraduates' interpretations of recent business scandals make distinctions between public and private behaviour which indicates a major gap in ethical theories: the benefits of a group perspective for corporate citizenship versus individual family values. This article describes the phenomenon and identifies the empirical and theoretical disconnections between leadership and ethics. |
