Abstract: | This paper deals with the significance of the nature of knowledge management (KM) among researchers and practitioners for evaluating KM as a discipline. It also discusses what is there to be done to facilitate evaluation and to create conditions enabling to encourage self-organization around the most successful concepts of KM. Presented is a conceptual definition and specification of KM to analyze two primary approaches to KM: the DEC Interruption Approach, and the Background Conditions, or Ecological Approach etc. |
