| Abstract: | The article investigates the literature of innovation management and evaluates assumptions and limitations of the major approaches. The article argues that innovation management has not been fully utilizing the theoretical development of the knowledge management field and there is little communication between innovation and knowledge literature. The article further discusses the relationship between these two fields and offers alternative approaches to innovation management. |
